After a long, long hiatus Wayne convinces Frankie and Vinnie that it would be fun to form a cover band and work the bars again. Steve is already burdened with a full schedule of teaching and performing, but feels it is not in his best interest to say no to his father in law and agrees to join the band. Wayne threatens to break Muddy's fingers during a chiropractic visit, so he agrees to give it a go. Steve convinces Lyndsey to participate, amidst all her other performances, and when Madison comes down to the basement to tell us to "turn down" during rehearsal, Wayne assigns her a vocal part. At the end of this equation emerges "Wayne Brown and the Fuse."

Wayne further convinces fellow Fuses to spend a fortune on equipment, but assures them that it will all be paid for in a little less than 25 years given the going rate for bar gigs. Apparently, he did not consider what our bar tab would be each night when doing his calculations.
